That's nonsense.

No matter how much content is pushed out, for any decent paysite or studio
it's just promo content, designed to be spread, shared P2P, reposted etc.
This promo content spreads the brand, makes the sponsors more money. If
it's saturated then it's done it's job. You can release tons of it, long as it's
both saturated and tease they need to signup to get more.

People don't stop using porn sites just because you put out content in a
different format. Saying the amount of money in the industry will change
because of distribution method is crazy talk.

If you are refering to small -> 1 min clips - sure, you are right, however the "master minds" behind today´s tube sites are putting up stolen full lenght scenes/movies...

It's true, piracy was once for the "computer community" which has grown to be "every man woman and child" so obviously it will have effects.

You also used to have to "know someone" to get it. Now you just type in a URL and make one click and voila.

You can't see that as a positive?

Well, the quality on these Tube sites is horrible and most of the time just a few minutes.

I believe at the end that the customer will see good quality content.

MGPs were all stolen videos on Geocities hosting until sponsors got into MPEG FHGs.

The pirates are always first on, they exploit holes in the industry, market in
ways most people can't. However they get pushed out by the main body of
the industry over time, as sponsors and affiliates figure out ways into the
new markets created by these people.

These few bad examples of tube sites will soon be gone and in their wake will
be sponsor content tube sites featuring legal content with full 2257 info etc.

I agree. the amount of free porn out there is better quality and more than maybe 50% or more of the paysites out there.

I think tube sites are good if they are run correctly. And I mean "no stolen content" as a good tube site.
If your showing a video from sponsor A and link to sponsor B then thats just fucked.

Promote the sponsors that give you the content.
