I used to use a wiki on a stick in college to store and share notes. Sadly, HP reformatted my hard drive, it no longer exists.

But you're welcome to edit mine.

It doesn't take very long to set up a wiki with the free wikimedia software.

Why the fuck would you want or need a wiki? Other ADD friends without lives?

for many possible reasons. wikis are not just used for collecting information, but for storing it.

I used a wiki in college, as I said above, because I could link my (for example) biology notes to my cellular biology notes to the teacher who's teaching my cellular biology class, to any other classes I had with this professor (or was interested in) or to my schedule or to what the fuck ever.

And so instead of my notebook consisting of pages with information stacked on top of one another, I have pages of information linked directly to all the pages in the stack that are related. I do this by simply wrapping [] around a word, it becomes a magical fucking link.

worked well for me, but there are other uses. You don't see the use, that's fine. I'll be smart, you be dumb, grouchy troll. kthxbye
