Superstar actor Will Smith has indicated that he plans to be the President of the United States one day. He revealed that he had wanted to be the first black president but has now thrown his weight behind the campaign of Democrat Barack Obama.

Smith said that he doesn't think that the current president, George W. Bush, is evil but rather that he has an "unevolved perspective". "Too many bad things have happened under his presidency. It's a good thing he's served his time," Smith said.

"Once I'm in, I'll start changing a few things that urgently need changing. "The basis of human sanity is physical survival, right? So I'd start with universal healthcare and shelter," said Smith.

He has a pretty clean image. If Arnold can be Governor, Willie could be president. I think he would do really well if he prepared properly.

Hey, I'd give him fair consideration... hard to imagine anyone being worse than what we have now.

He has managed his career very damn well.

The guy has a great track record for success, with the exception of the odd wild west movie.

Everything he's done has been a success.

I think you've been misinformed.

The only info I can find on the subject is that he's studied the religion with Tom, and has said outright that he's not a Scientologist.

Just because you study something - doesn't mean you're a follower.

I've personally studied Buddhism, Confucianism, Catholicism, Jehovah Witnesses Doctrine, Islam, Judaism, Mormonism, Taoism, Hinduism, Hare Krishna, Scientology, Jainism, even Satanism - and a more, I'm sure..

Yet I wouldn't consider myself a "member" of any of those religions. :2 cents:
