I going to NH in jan.

I use to race in my youth for Killington's ski team

Havent been skiing since I was 14... Only snowboard ever since, and havent missed the skiing

I'm off to Smugglers Notch in Vermont next week to hit the slopes! I used to telemark but I'm getting too old and my knee's can't handle it anymore!

I use to race GS..like 15 years ago lol.

i want to try skiiing , i never went ..... anybody recmmend someplace good where it has like a young crowd?

killington in Vt has a lot of nightlife and tons of people from nyc head up for the weekend

a friend of mine asked me to join them skiing for New Years for four days and I was like - "yeah, sure" but then I realised that they actually mean business, like really skiing every day for the whole fucking day, and changed my mind

last time I went skiing (many years ago) it was more like drinking 22 hours/day then going to the noobs' slopes and trying to bump into the hottest German girl, then roll downhill and say something like "I;m so sorry, I didn'I didn't mean to, can I touch your pussy" or something of that sort

Used to ski but now I only snowboard and I'm way better at it than I ever was at ski.

Do you ever snowboard JDL? You might want to try that instead. I think it's easier for newbies.

With 1 class(maybe 1.5 to 3 hours), you should be able to go down the hill. Of course you'll fall on your ass a few times, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

I love to ski but have not gone since I moved to Florida :)

Just checked in online as we are leaving to go skiing/snow boarding tomorrow morning for 7 days. Have never attempted either activity and am really excited about it. Hopefully I won't fall over to much and make a complete ass of myself. LOL

I snowboard, and trust me, it's alot better than skiing.

I love skiing I've been doing it for years. If you ever go to Canada skiing Tremblant, Whistler and Lake Louise are the best ski hills by far in my opinion.

Haven't been skiing for like 10 years, but if you intend so I can fly over and we can go meet my friend George in Aspen, Colorado..

I'm going Friday, can't wait!

I used to ski quite a bit when I was younger but haven't gone in several years. In high school there was a bunch of us that would skip school every Fri. during the winter and hit the local slopes.

If you're looking for a good resort with great skiing and a variety of age groups with a pretty good nightlife I would suggest Whistler B.C. The site of the 2010winter Olympics. approx. 1.5 hour drive from Vancouver depending on the road conditions. There are small charter planes that will get you there in 20 to 30 min. if you don't mind spending a few extra $$$ on the flight. There is also a train that takes somewhere around 1 hour from Vancouver as well. I do believe that if you check their website they probably have package deals that will include airfare accommodation and lift tickets. I would suggest trying to get a place in the village as everything that you need is within walking distance in the village and thus would eliminate the need for transportation during your stay.

Whistler has some of the best skiing in the world and the longest vertical runs in North America. I believe it's somewhere around 7 kilometers from top to bottom on their longest run. It's really a great mountain for any level of experience from beginner to advanced.
