In the market for a new computer -PLS HELP!!

Ok guys I really need your help! I need a new puter, for the past 5 years I have been using a Sony Vaio notebook... Now I'm not sure weather to go back to Sony Vaio or MAC?? What would you buy??

It's like choosing between a kick in the nuts or an umbrella in the ass. Have you considered any other options beside the obvious NOs?

My last 3 laptops have been refurbished gateways from tigerdirect, they work great.

My Macbook is my favorite laptop. I also have a 17'' in widescreen HP that's my last remaining Windows PC and it's a dream to work on.

Its not a bad idea but I'd strongly suggest having an external HD backup with all your files as well. Just in case and it never hurts to have on new PC's too.

This is something I should do anyways, I don't have anything backed up

If you know how to use a computer to do your shit, use the Vaio.
If you arent going to be needing any of the endless (albeit crap) software, go with the Mac

I'm a god damn PC Guy til the end..but thats just me...

Remember with hard drives it's not a question of IF, but WHEN they will crash and lose data. Don't risk it, do regular backups.
