NATS database query tools???

Anyone know of any database probing tools for NATS? I would like to do extended searches for things like signup IP addresses, login IPs, epassporte accounts names, etc. This info is all available within NATS but searching specifically for them is not supported. I tried checking through phpMyAdmin but the db seems to be encrypted.

thanks,
Luke

Hi Chilihost

db is not encrypted or you have some weird installation, but NATS even has some KB articles referring to looking in the DB

I checked I can see all data fine..

Maybe this is a stupid question, but how do you access to the databse? By ssh access to mysql adn then use sql sentences?

oh thats what it was... I searched for IP addresses and could not match on a 1.1.1.1 format, I never thought it was converted to hex. Thanks! I will give phpMyAdmin another try.

If you're asking this question, don't go near your nats db :2 cents:

Anything that stores IPs as "1.1.1.1" should make you run far far away :)

In case you haven't seen there is the KB at http://kb.toomuchmedia.com which has a lot of info but does not get too in-depth as far as the database, etc.

Just be careful when in the DB as you can do a lot of damage. Doing SELECTS are fine, but if you do any modification of the DB structure it can cause lots and lots of problems.
