Anybody ever get knocked out for GFY shit talk?
 

Been around this business for a while but just started posting (once I stop working to look at the board, I cant stop.....so I usually dont start :)) .....seems to me people talk a lot of "when I see you Im gunna" shit around here. Im assuming that nobody here would tolerate that in person.
Anyone ever have to answer in person for the stuff they say? I've been to dozens of shows and never see anything serious seem to happen, which is a good thing.....just curious.

I get the whole "keep it on the boards" thing, I just figured because so often peoples business and reputations are the focal point.....that there has to be a case of sombody going apeshit. I havnt been been in a fight since the 8th grade and think its a poor way to solve a problem, but you gotta admit, this much shit talk and no action is kind of strange? NO?

I've been threatened a few times. I went to Internext half expecting some trouble but never even saw the shit talkers. If they were looking for me, they could have found me with ease. They either never showed or changed their minds when they saw me.

Apparently Donny still has an 8th grade mentality (which is around the time that I figure he was either kicked out, or dropped out of school).

Donny Long said on GFY that he didn't go to jail for beating a woman, but he previously wrote on another board about being in jail over domestic abuse related charges, and that he plead no contest in court (apparently his lawyer didn't explain that this has a similar effect to being found guilty, and it still results in a conviction).

A very nice offer. To lay ones life on the line for a beer is commendable (or at least alchoholic :)). Seeing as I have no enemies, I will respectfully decline. And as I either know well, or have met almoast everyone on this board....if I was having trouble with someone....I wouldnt be that worried (I think I have about 6 inches and 40 pounds on most of the folks here :thumbsup)

I agree. I've gotten into flame wars with people in the past and once recognized someone at Internext that I disliked and jokingly shook his hand. You'd be a real punk and loser if you took board talk seriously enough to start an actual physical fight. Then you'd probably get charged with assault and who knows what else, so you would be an idiot too.

Dirty Danza and I had some pretty heated board spats in the past, but when we met up in Vegas, I thought he was an okay person. We both still have our differences, but neither of us thought it was worth fighting over.
