Question for Ron Paul supporters

Why should I vote for Ron Paul instead of voting for the Libertarian party?

It seems to me their platforms are practically identical, with one major exception.

Ron Paul seems to think it's his business whether a woman gets an abortion or not, where the Libertarians think that abortion, like most things, is none of the government's business.

So if I want government out of my business, why Ron Paul instead of the Libertarians?

And why all of this support for Ron Paul instead of a rush to join the libertarian party? It's not like his ideas are new, the Libs have been running on this same platform for decades. :2 cents:

shhhh.... do not upset the ron addicts.

PS they will say he thinks it should be a state choice and not a Government choice. Which is a pussy way of saying it should not be a womans choice which is also wrong if for instance the father is willing to take full custody of the child, then personally the father also should have a choice.

Wrong, Ron Paul believes abortion should not be a federal issue.

The issue of abortion is paradoxical from a libertarian's point of view. The definition of human life is subjective. Restricting abortion could be viewed as unnecessary government interference resulting in the limitation of one's personal freedom. Or it could be viewed as preventing an act of aggression from being committed.
