how can I access my website (by entering the ip no the domain name) if it is on a shared ip? is there any way to do that?
say if 10 sites share 69.147.83.*** when I type 69.147.83.*** into the browser and hit enter I don't see my site, is there any way I can I see my site like adding a prefix or suffix to the ip or whatever??? thanks ps dumb question, i know |

it 'may' work.. if it doesn't, you won't be able. Why do you want to do such (there may be another way around) |

I have a site1 on another host1 that "pulls" the content from site2 on host2 but for some reason something got fuckt and now siet1 can only "pull" (using curl) from a site ip but not domain. So I'm guessing something's fucked with that host's DNS or whatever and while they are trying to fix it I can use my site2 ip address instead |
The only way it could be possible is to assign a dedicated IP to that very domain.
