Can you use Gmail in your desktop Email program?
 
Is it possible to use G-mail in Outlook? I've been reading cant find shit on it.

Yes I do just enable pop in the gmail options, and gmail will give you step by step instructions.

Yes. Within gmail click Settings>Forwarding and POP/IMAP then click enable pop (or imap if you prefer that)

Save the settings then go to this link: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...l&answer=12103

It gives configuration instructions for most if not all email programs.

I stopped having a desktop email program. I got tired of systems crashing or having reformatting and losing something. Got gmail and pay yahoo twenty something a year. I get all my email and unlimited space.

With gmail you can do both.

Dont bother with POP. Just use IMAP. IMAP does everything server side, so you never have to download messages. All your mail will be filtered properly no matter what computer you use, when you read a message on one machine, it will be marked as read on any other you use etc. POP is crap.

Yeah you can use it with Mozilla Thunderbird.
