hey quick... SEO questions?

there's a pubcon conference and Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz is going to relay some of the questions his users have and post them on his blog. If you have any REALLY valuable SEO questions... please post them here in the next ~hour before I post these questions and/or my own.

I want these questions to be related specifically to adult, so we can represent our community and answer some current unknowns.

man, I was really torn about whether to come here for SES or go to pubcon. How is it?

I have some questions to ask him:

What is his opinion on A-B trades as opposed to A-B-C trades?

Has the nofollow tag eliminated the usefulness of trackbacks?

What about blogs that trade links based on the fact that they are adult related rather than sticking with niche specific trades?

oh... I'm not there, I'm commenting on his blog in hopes that he will answer some of the questions I post.

This question was already asked in regards to SEO in general, so no need to ask again. Great question though.

Has the nofollow tag eliminated the usefulness of trackbacks?

I think I can answer this one: for direct SEO benefit, yes.. unless the CMS is not one that uses a link condom for trackbacks. For traffic, and link baiting (as a courtesy)... NO, trackbacks are still useful and should be used for the simple matter that trackbacks attract trackbacks as well as traffic.

What about blogs that trade links based on the fact that they are adult related rather than sticking with niche specific trades?

I will ask this

keep em coming :thumbsup

How predominant is toolbar data used in the algorithm as far as temporal link analysis goes........ link growth patterns graphed against traffic.

I am amazed that, baddog, you are asking these questions.
