Only now does someone step up and actually do it right. Anyone involved in writing, directoring or otherwise creating the previous Batman movies (before DK or BB) should be banned from Hollywood entirely.

To be a little more honest in my eyes at least and a certified fan boy to the point of owning several comic hobby shops through my life. The Batman story itself would be and as it has shown was the hardest to even get close to getting right. The comic itself not including the graphic novels were a constant mix mesh of comedy (aka 60's tv show style) while still in the 80's and 90's down to the psychotic Bruce Wayne who is slowly loosing his mind in other batman series. Seems as if people forget how many different comic titles alone batman had, even to the point of where it all began in detective comics. So along comes the problem, which stories, which villains, which batman, which version of him, vigilante/hero/psycho, and other major questions. Then to which fan base to you set it to to piss the least amount of fans off.
I also think DC had the first few superman's done right, actually for the longest time Warner Brothers and DC were the only ones able to make a profitable comic movie while every Marvel storyline failed beyond belief.
I am however deeply glad they went the way they did with the remake. I like the character building and I really hope they spend even more time developing batman himself and less about the villains. Anyone who reads the books knows the majority of the stories are what he is saying or thinking in his head.
