The great part was that she originally was sentenced to a more lenient 100 lashes, but protested the sentence and blabbed to the media. The 'court' ie. religious leaders reviewed it and doubled everyone's sentences including hers.
They made a comment to the effect that there were other ways to dispute the sentence other than take it to the press. In other words, she made them look bad so she is now fucked (again!) |
