Guess it is routing glitch if some people are ok?

internet is having a few issues, could be it

svenski 12-03-2007 05:12 PM

I'm in Spain, not the fastest part of the world. Anything with https in the front at ccbill is not coming up for me. I did quickly check https paypal to make sure it wasn't my browser screwing up.

svenski 12-03-2007 05:37 PM

Corvette,

Did a traceroute and it is pretty slow but the connection is timing out after it hits Cavecreek. I then did a traceroute via the US and goes through fine.

Any ideas?

BIGTYMER 12-03-2007 05:39 PM

Its working fine for me.

Rosie 12-03-2007 05:58 PM

Working fine here (Denmark)

it was most likely a temporary network issue, nothing global

Looking to the future what network monitoring tools are available, over and above whatever you're doing now?

We currently use a 3rd party service to monitor external connections on our signup forms. As well, we are also deploying test nodes as a second level to check connectivity from locations globally as another tier of external monitoring.

This issue was most likely just a small temporary internet/general connectivity blip

notoldschool 12-04-2007 10:03 AM

try not hanging out behind a router. ;)

Thanks for your response. Western Europe, Scandinavia and Asia, not including mainland China would be my main concern for "falling under the radar" when it comes to network issues.
