I highly doubt you'd have a case like this in the US. I mean Christian theology is lampooned every day but you don't see massive lawsuits. Maybe it reflects the widespread and silent strength of Christianity in this country that it does not have to resort to lawsuits to "clear" its name.

Free speech mean you are allowed to say what you want, even if some fucking religious group doesn't like it. I may not agree with this guy, but he has a right to say what the fuck he wants. Without free speech you can't have a free society.

If he wants to hate muslims, or christians, or vegans, or rabbits for that matter, then let him do it.

Very interesting post IMX. When you look at the past 200 years of American political literature there is always mention of the Christian God. I wonder how this will play out now that America is less White Anglo Saxon Protestant than before [due to non white and also non christian immigration].

don't forget the general dismissal of traditional values and belief systems. that is a far greater factor then immigration.
with over 200 million ppl, it would take a fuck load of migrants, like 20 million, to even show up to a significant degree in demographic studies. the reduction of anglos in proportion is more closely linked to 2nd gen migrants having kids. not the current crop.

I have a question.. Most stupid means its the highest on the stupidity scale - right? Well - if we would have measures all religion on that scale - and lets assume all religions have at least little of that "stupidity"-material to qualify for that scal - its evident and unavoidable that one of the religions will be the highest on that scale. Different people may measure that differently but the dude said on his scale its Islam. (nice point about the Islam/Bible poetry issue :))
Anyway - what is he sued about? Having an opinion? having a "scale" or maybe scientifically he was wrong and his scale is out of scale? :winkwink:

I dont get it. If one of the religions MUST be the most stupid - and reserchers will find evidence that its Islam - will the Islamic movements drop the charges?:thumbsup

1. Christians that follow the old testament...

4. Christians that only follow the new testament...
