Costa Rica Bash 2008: We need your input on Seminars and Activities

For everyone attending the Costa Rica Bash 2008, or thinking about attending (do it!) we'd like to get some input on you about two things in particular.

Seminars

The past two years we have gone with:
  • Legal Advice
  • Anything Goes Discussion
  • Pros and Cons of Offshore Content

This year, we are looking to change things up a bit. Would you guys be interested in a seminar about "Buying Real Estate in Costa Rica" ? Something else? Which seminar would you drop? Your input is what makes the show what it is, so please let us know.

Activities / Sponsorships

This year, we are thinking of changing the way sponorships on our four daytime activities (Canopy Tour, Jungle ATV Tour, Crocodile Man Tour, Beach Massages) work. Instead of having one sponsor for each, at a cost of $3-4K, we were thinking about offering an "all activities" sponsorship for $2-2.5K (6 spots). This would have you as a sponsor across all activities and increase your exposure. Thoughts??

If you haven't already signed up, what are you waiting for? Do it now. Spaces are limited and going fast so don't delay or you may regret it!

See you all down here :thumbsup

- Never accept the first, second or even third price
- Knowing a little Spanish can go a long ways
- Always "check for a package"

Hey Varius,
Definitely buying real estate in costa rica for fun and profit, and pitfalls to avoid, would be an interesting seminar topic for this event. I was also thinking people who might be interested in moving down here would like to find out about setting up their business offshore, such as incorporation, banking and getting merchant accounts.

Setting up the business, incorporation, etc...falls into the legal advice seminar.

the three past seminars sound great, looking forward to going to costa rica this year

The masseuses should be made available the whole weekend, rather than just a few hour block in the afternoon... I bet that'd be a huge hit.

Or at the very least if a couple hung around the hotel I'm sure they could make a ton of money... Although the Jaco ones who come to your hotel are usually overpriced.

I think a seminar on why Panama instead would be good :)

Seriously the legal seminar should continue.
The bar parties should continue
The Tica sushi bar should continue

If I had anything to sell I would be a sponsor, the event is that good.

I enjoyed the seminar's last year, I definitely think we should have another anything-goes offshore panel :)

Can't wait for this years Bash, everyone should go! I highly recommend it!
