Chavez couldn´t approve his constitution!!
This is one of the happiest days since this asshole won the presidency.
Caracas is celebrating! I´m outta here!!!! :1orglaugh |
It's because of Bush. Tomorrow he can follow throughand shut off oil.
|
How do you figure it was because of Bush? Venezuelans voted... he said he'd shut off oil if the US tried to interfere, and they didn't.
|
Chavez is a moron ...

Chavez lost 49,3% : 50,7% he could have easily rigged it with such close numbers instead he admitted and acknowledged that he lost... |
Congratulation to Venezuela´s peoples!

Im happy for this...
Not because he didn't win.. but because this shows that Venezuela is still a democratic country.. more democratic than other countries like Russia or even USA.. This is a big kick ass, not for Chavez.. but for CNN, BBC and we all know what other propaganda sellers around the world. |
Good news.
I bet the Hollywood crowd is disappointed... lol |
good news :thumbsup
|
Scary how close it was, but I am happy for the Venezuelan people.

Start caring about the iraqis dying from cholera in Baghdad because 80 % of the sewer system is destroyed .... |
Watching this from Panama has been interesting, 1500 Venezuelans a day have been landing here with few catching their return flights. I think Chavez has several more years in office to achieve his goals of staying in office. Worst case he can so a Putin and move from the soapbox into the role of pulling the strings. Nothing new here except that unlike some recent elections in "the land of the free" the electorate has apparently spoken without Diebold's help.
or not? http://www.nytimes.com/2006/10/29/wa...=1&oref=slogin |
well, that's a good news! congrats to Venezuelan community! :winkwink:

And what exactly did you learn at the Ivy League institution you claimed to have attended??? Was it a course in common sense or did you not reach that grade? Ivy League my ass - you are just too stupid :1orglaugh |

Hahahaha, maybe you would have a heart attack if I also told you that my degree is with honors. I'd fax over my diploma, but it is a virtual certainty that you can't read Latin; you have enough difficulty with English and logic. :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
daddytrollbucks why dont you try not watching fox news for a month and see if your views become more based on common sense and truth instead of what ever the fuck you have going on in that head of yours

Your implied comparison of GWB with Hitler and/ or Saddam is absurd and ridiculous. |

Just rolling over the floor laughing our heads off here :1orglaugh:1orglaugh Hate to ask this :1orglaugh:1orglaugh But what exactly was the field in which you were granted this degree??? Stupidity?? *LOL* God... if true, it sure is a living example of how useless the education system really is - my parrot has more sense. |

This is too damned funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, part of your degree course involved using a wild imagination and making assumptions???? Did that come before or after you learned to read??? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

http://uk.reuters.com/article/oilRpt...62583920071205 And by the looks of it he is going to choose to ignore the people´s vote and he is still going to try to push his socialist constitution on the country using the completely pro-Chavez congress. Even more democratic. Despite the current constitution stating clearly that once a constitutional reform has been defeated it cannot be presented again during the same presidential period. He is not going to rest until he drives this country to a civil war apparently. Remember to bump this every time one of these Chavez lovers call him a "democrat". |
At least he didnt go through with it anyway like the Bush administration would have.

C O N G R A T S !!!

Basically, he´s telling the venezuelan people: "screw you, I´m going to do it anyway". |

I read it all, and just saw that he is disapointed and , as he always does, uses words that are " not-presidential ". I think it is a good thing it didn't pass, but obviously not for the same reasons as you ... You do HAVE an agenda, right ? |

By the way, even though he boasts we have the most advanced electoral system in the world, we still dont have the final election results. We still dont know if his defeat was by such a narrow margin. Chavez said himself on sunday night that when he saw that he could not win the elections he authorized the president of the National Electoral Council to announce the results. He admitted on monday that he knew what the outcome was going to be by 9PM. The results were given at 1:30AM Hmm...why does he have so much control over the president over the NEC? Quote:
But just the article that stated that a president could be re-elected indefinitely should give you an idea. |

So you being anti your president ( Anti-Chavez ), does that make you a Venezuela Hater, a terrorist ? |
Quote:
You hate Bush. So anyone that insults Bush = The Good Guys. I never brought up Bush in this thread. I dont like him at all. But he is not the president of my country. Did you know that here in Venezuela Chavez himself calls those who are against him ,terrorist, lackeys of the empire, shit, no-brain puppets and a long list of other adjectives that I dont care to remember right now? And that when those that are agains him protest, he sets the National Guard on them with full violence? Do you really think Chavez is a true democrat? |
Quote:
Nope .. I don't ... He is a military guy, just like Musharef, Saddam, Pinochet, Noriega, Idi Amin Dadda, and BUSH ( well, he sort of plays the role ... )... But one thing for sure, he doesn't let the country be raped by foreign corps such as United Fruits .... I have been to your country 4 times, Columbia 3 times, Guatemala during the " war " of 1980 , El Salvador .... so I hab=ve seen things .... But you still didn't answer my question .... would of tought that the logic applied universally ... doesn't seem like it ... |

Or he just gives it away to Fidel and other countries in exchange for their support. Quote:
