Cheapest Hosting Next To Godaddy?

Who has the cheapest hosting next to godaddy? I already have my eye on someone to check out for real hosting support, but want to know who is the next cheapest next to godaddy in actual bandwidth usage just for basic mgp gallery submitting and etc. (you know, the stuff that really sucks up the bandwidth).

Thanks

Check out Hostgator in our sig. We use them for several adult and mainstream domains. Great control panel and very reasonable prices.

Promotional-wise, at least, this was stickied recently:

Dream Host
$7.95/month for around 2000 GB bandwidth, unlimited domains and subdomains, 1 FREE domain registration included in the price, 200 GB disk storage!

Shit, that's cheaper than godaddy. What's the catch? Worse support? Is that possible :1orglaugh

there's a lot of providers out there with really cheap hosting...

just be careful because I chose to do something like that a while back (with lelahosting) and they went out of business. Decided not to even tell the customers, but instead charged their credit cards about an hour before taking everything down. Everything gone.

They seemed really professional too. Now I've got dedicated hosting with someone I can trust. I also have virtual hosting with another one of these 'cheap' copmanies.

Just be careful and back everything up yourself

Well, I always back up, believe me, but my problem is that godaddy can't really handle anything better than basic html, which is okay considering what you're paying for bandwidth if you're a gallery submitter which I am.

Recently though, I've been wanting to get a little more complex, and from historical relations with godaddy, there is no fucking way on earth I'm trusting them with anything more than basic html. That's just the way it is.

So I think I got the part for anything complex covered, but I can't really afford to work mgp galleries from those people so I was wondering if there was a middle road somewhere.

That's about it.
