How many projects do you have running?

How many projects do you have running?

I have about 10 on all kind of different markets. Sometimes, I think it's too many :)

How many do you have?

maggie2007 11-30-2007 09:48 PM

each guy from our team has about 5 different projects and I like to decrease it :)

notoldschool 11-30-2007 09:51 PM

474 projects.

cybermike 11-30-2007 09:53 PM

not enough

After Shock Media 11-30-2007 09:54 PM

To many and I am scaling back. Ideally I want it down to no more than two personal projects that require my hands on it. Anything else that can not be automated, or hired out to others to run it shall be sold off or just cut.

papill0n 11-30-2007 10:14 PM

Too fucking many! I need to scale back I am spreading myself too thin.

Ice 11-30-2007 10:18 PM

How ya been buddy?

teg0 11-30-2007 10:20 PM

a lot of them, but all my focus is in one big one right now. a real big one, mainstream

tranza 11-30-2007 10:21 PM

At least 5 projects. But I do have 7 employees, so that's not so bad!!

:)

RayVega 11-30-2007 10:24 PM

I used to have dozens. now I have one major main stream project and about two mainstream and two adult prjects in the works...thats enough! I can finally focus on one main project though, and it's extremely profitable so there's no need to look elsewhere.

I find the more I have going on the less money I make.

Shagbunny 11-30-2007 10:33 PM

i estimate about 6-7

WiredGuy 11-30-2007 10:36 PM

Too many...
WG

Spunky 11-30-2007 10:40 PM

Money is overrated

rowan 11-30-2007 11:02 PM

Too many, I have a bunch of undeveloped domains or half finished sites rather than a few well developed ones.

Right now I'm working on a major project, biggest one I've ever done in my life. There are several technical hurdles to overcome and it requires a lot of forethought to ensure that a decision made now isn't going to break in 3 months when the database throws out an error. I'm not known for thinking ahead, so I'm worried. :)

Buzz 11-30-2007 11:07 PM

well... 3 and a half :)

martinsc 12-01-2007 03:41 AM

i need to get better organized to keep better track of things and get more efficient with each....

munki 12-01-2007 03:44 AM

Busy busy peoples...

Barefootsies 12-01-2007 03:48 AM

I'd say about 7.

Some are different projects in the same market (not adult), but pieces in a bigger puzzle.

Some are replacements for existing stuff (upgrades).

TTiger 12-01-2007 04:56 AM

do someone know a GFY (board) for mainstream webmaster/marketer?

yes, there are a few

sitepoint and digital pointe are probably some of the biggest. you could also check webmaster world, but you would have to part with some beer money.

:2 cents:

Oh yeah, and they run them with an iron fist. So the same gfy schnanigans will not fly over there.

Elixir 12-01-2007 05:09 AM

1 mainstream and alot adult projects !

alexweb 12-01-2007 05:15 AM

polish_aristocrat 12-01-2007 05:36 AM

Of course not :)

Violetta 12-02-2007 11:00 AM

The last years I've had too many adult projects. I have got rid of most of them, and will concentrate on getting better on what I like doing.

baddog 12-02-2007 11:02 AM

By projects do you mean things running or in production?

HeadPimp 12-02-2007 11:05 AM

Hmmm....
Adult if I lump things together about 3
Mainstream/real life about 50

Running, and not counting 1k uniques/day TGPs.. :)

GreyWolf 12-02-2007 11:54 AM

Too many - and all pointless if they remain as "projects".

In adult, tend to deal with around two at any one time (and often related), else there is little progress. Outside adult, got a few and some of these will last.. up to eight years, so just have to roll with the flow on them.

There is more satisfaction in focussing on one project and completing that, than having 999 other "plans" in the background.....

u-Bob 12-02-2007 11:56 AM

way too many :)

st0ned 12-02-2007 01:43 PM

minniesoporno 12-02-2007 07:44 PM

and my part-time job, and full-time school. sometimes I wonder how do i do it

BIGTYMER 12-02-2007 08:25 PM

Jeezz I'd say like 5 or 6 in different areas. Only 2 being adult related.
