Poor guy . . he can tell it's that time again.

Packing to go, and Buddy knows what is up.

He is at the depression stage.

I hate that. My kitties do that. It breaks my heart. When they see that suitcase they know. :(

Give me lots of extra kisses.

I know - my kitties too. It's even worse when I've been gone for a while. One snubs me for a bit when I get home as if to say, "Hmph, why should I allow you to pet me when you leave me here all alone for so long???"

Oh I know they are so happy to see you and you can tell they are excited for pets but for some reason they have to play the "I didn't even notice you were gone" game. haha I love them to much!

Haha - yeah, the one is always happy to see me, but the other gives me the 'tude if I've been gone too long like, "Oh, it's you again..." LOL And they say cats don't have have their own personalities... :winkwink:

hollinator 11-30-2007 06:46 PM

And yeah, you should take him with you or leave him with a loving friend...

Yeah . . . the problem is getting him on the plane. Have to put him as checked baggage, can't take SWA, don't have a carrier big enough for him that will fit in the car picking me up in Chicago.

Think I will take him for a drive there this summer. Show him his roots.

He is well taken care of. No kennels involved.

As far as his attitude when I return . . . like a long lost friend. He is always happy to see me when I get back. No attitude, just the same gratitude he shows every morning and realizes I am actually home.

hollinator 11-30-2007 06:54 PM

Awwwww.... :o)

baddog 11-30-2007 06:59 PM

I think currently he is more bummed that I am stepping out to the Ozzie concert and he has to hang outside.

AaronM 11-30-2007 07:16 PM

I'd like a few minutes of your time on the phone before you go.

Not phone sex this time.
