So I was about to create some adwords for this site and I discovered what a hippocryt google is in its policy. This is a quote from the rep: Ad text and landing pages promoting e-gold, a specific type of digital currency are forbidden. This includes but is not limited to services related to e-gold such as e-gold exchangers, e-gold investment programs, and e-gold accounts.

What is this arbitrary decision? A hunger for control?
Google is in my world from today on, NOT an engine based on spreading news, but keeping people footlocket by standarts.

The next will be hitting markeds such as financial spread betting then the pharmacy marked, the hitting the gambling sector and so on. There is no reason to believe in the different after being a witness to this.

How about because e-Gold has a pretty questionable reputation.

I would not deal with them either.

And the adult business is clean? Nobody has ever fucked webmasters, sold content without license, not shaved stats or....hey, MegaErotic, they are good guys right?

Adult is questionable, wheter you like it or not, not everyone looks on adult as something "regular" just like we do.
My point being, is that what google is doing is a load of bullshit! Since when does a Search Engine all the sudden get to say what is good business and what is not? Oh yes wait, when they get filthy rich and in control.

It is their ball, if you don;t like it, go to a different playground. No one is forcing you to use them.
