SplitInfinity.net Contact Details?

How do you get a hold of these guys besides Email? It's virtually impossible to get a person on the phone initially.

I ordered a server 2 weeks ago and still waiting.

Not very bloody happy I can tell you.

And yes, I have been chasing Joel for days and every day or so he comes back to me but he then again leaves me hanging.

Not happy Jan.

Thought better of Chris and his team, really did.

Hi all.

Today, due to the rain, we had a minor power outage.
This caused the power to our phone system to die out.
It did not affect the network, however one local pop
of at&t did experience an outage which caused a flap
in our network, and the bgp penalized that route into
our network for about 15 minutes.

That is what happened to our communications. Not to mention
on our web site, there is listed many other ways to contact us
as well as our ticket system. I apologize for any shortcomings
related to communications and I will address that and open up
new methods of informing the public.

Regarding your server order, Joel took your order and your server
is a special build that we custom ordered for you. Our supplier did
not provide it to us on schedule. I am inquiring about this right now
and I will let you know via email the status. It may be done. Normally
they drive the servers to our location, perhaps due to the heavy rain
today they have not delivered yet.

Ill give you a free month due to the order latency, ok?

Thankyou - it is appreciated.

I would not have posted, nor was I chasing any sort of freebie, nor was I chasing getting Joel a kick in the ass.

I just wanted the server.. and Joel explained the order delay because of our setup requirements and that was no problem, it's just more than a day between communications each time and me chasing was pissing me off.

If I had been kept posted I would not have been so annoyed - shit happens and we all know that and can accept it - IF we are kept in the loop.

No such thing as a problem so long as everyone learns something from it.

Still waiting for email or ICQ on that point .....

Thanks again - we look forward to a LONG relationship.

:thumbsup

Got it Chris - all good mate.

Have a good weekend and we start fresh Monday ;-)

And just a general thought to throw out there for the masses ... a wise man once taught me that dealing with customer problems are the real opportunity for you to show your mettle and build a lasting relationship by working through them.

I never forgot that one myself.

:thumbsup
