Just found a song from 1977 that I love...

Psycho Killer.....

I heard it for the first time just the other day - I thought it must be some new song!!

Here is a terrible version on YouTube

I heard it first on a dexter clip - I would like to get hold of that version.

Anyone know if the version used in the 'Dexter' clip is available - I will even pay ! :)

None of you ever saw the greatest concert movie ever made, "Stop Making Sense"? That is how I first heard this song. David Byrne opens up the concert movie playing an acousic version of "Psycho Killer."

Forest 11-29-2007 08:28 PM

I saw the talking heads in NYC at an old place called Entermedia Theater when I was like 10 years old

My stepmother was working there at the time and it was a punk rock festival with the stranglers and a bunch of other bands I cant even remember

got to meet the band back stage and i was like... Who the fuck are these guys

That's pretty amazing, Forest! That looks like it was professionally filmed too! Maybe you can get the full concert. You never know, you might be in it!

How could anyone who was alive back then have missed that song?? It was all over the radio for years.

Definitely a great song though.

Talking Heads are where it's at- They have a 2 disk set out that's pretty comprehensive, you should just buy it. Here's a link:
