well, i just broke up with my 2 year gf, for some reason i don't know. i guess i just got tired of going into and out of relationships for 7 years nonstop..

so for the married people, and those with gfs, how do you know if she's the one for you?

a stupid and mushy question, i know.. so if you don't want to reply, it's ok.. if you have something to say, please do...

I dont know really, but when i met my GF, we had the feeling that we'd known each other for years ... may b thats a sign ?

It is hard to say if she was the one or not. I split with my ex about 3 months ago, we have two kids (twins). She was a great girlfriend, but as soon as we split she wouldn't let me see my kids (and still won't).


I think you need to think about the reason you split with her, it had to be something.....

i don't think you'll know she's the one till you're old and grey and still together. i had a gf for 4 yrs and i thought she was it. we broke up over a year ago and it was the best thing to ever happen to me. you shouldn't go looking for the one either.

she's the one if you're comfortable with her in every way. if there is anything uncomfortable, she might be "the one in your bed" but not "the one".

listen to your instincts on this. don't try to rationalize/justify her positions/issues if they bug you. don't try to change yourself to accomodate them. it will fail.
