donating on gfy has burned me before. don't do it anymore. i wish they would stop everyone from doing it actually.

i used to give to the red cross too, only to hear on the news years later that all the execs from there were busted in scams and now driving corvettes and living in hot houses.

stuff like this should be handled within her community and family.

Oh thats sad man! I know when a F5 tornado hit in Andover Kansas, the red cross did an outstanding job, helping people! They delivered Pizza's to the people trying to find anything that they owned. It was very sweet to see.

I see what your saying, but I am a big Karma person and wouldn't be involved with any scams.

on the bank to set up this fund. They have a special unit that sets these types of things up and all funds will be sent to the bank.

As of right now i have no more comments at the time being. I need to take a hour or so and get my thoughts and emotions back together. I will keep everyone updated when i find more out.

I'm still wondering what the drinking age is in Kansas though.

Does it really matter? Underage people everywhere get into bars with fake id's or good looks. Drinking age here is 18, I started going to bars when I was 16 or 17... most people do. Especially girls.

as far as I know, 18 to enter 21 to drink.

I know alot of popular bars started working around the laws (if they had slow business going on) to let the 18 yr olds in the bar until 12:00 am and 18 yr old night's on certain nights.

Being from a small town in Kansas, I was at the bars at a young age.

I heard she went with 2 other girls to the bar, but left alone with killer boy ( probally drugged)
The best thing I can tell parents out there (cause their going to party) is stick in a group. That's really the only way I can see life being a little safer for the teenagers growing up. I don't know all the details, as I wasn't there.

She left a bar with a man she met that night and the police are investigating the adult company she was working with. Why? Does that matter?

Nothing she did is an excuse for this tragedy but that doesn't mean that the bar should not be investigated for their crimes as well.

Not sure how it is up there but down here in San Diego there are a lot of bars that are 18+ you just cant go into the bar area if your under 21 or bring drinks into the 18+ area.

Instead of a reward fund since it seems fairly obvious they have the who, what, and when. Why not a fund to give to her family?
It is obvious they are going through a world of hurt, they just learned she was an adult model on thanksgiving if I recall. Then fake stories of all the money she was earning or had in escrow, and how dirty the industry is. Then of course the whole world now knowing that the parents somehow "fucked up" and raised a porn star (not my opinion, just reality). So I just figure money going to the parents themselves makes more sense.

Then again I make the warning I am on medication right now and what I said may not make any sense.

If they thought it was 'industry money' the family may take it the wrong way.

Maybe if somebody knew them they could sound them out on the idea.

They already knew of her envolvement prior to all of this though. So why should the fact that its industry money really effect anything (again I am slow right now).

To me its not really much more different than industry money to find the sick bastard.

Personally i think this is a great opportunity for this industry to shine out of this tragedy.. i would like to see some of the larger programs step up and donate to the reward fund...

when this is all said and done i have a feeling that a lot of the media is going to be saying that her lifestyle led her to this even though she was in college and seemed to have her shit together...

it would be nice to hear on the news that several adult companies have offered xxx amount of dollars for a reward...

Thay found out just a few weeks ago about involvement in adult and now this - I dont know what they felt about the adult sites but they are bound to be angry and a little bitter at the moment. That is likley to be aimed at the wrong people.

Also the sponsor has to be very careful how they tread at this point. This has gone from bad to worse for them - even without this dreadful ending. Handing over money could be a bad thing.
