Like V_Rocks indicated, just about everyone here on GFY has some vested interest in seeing that site go down. Their host, Internap is here in the US. They and adbrite turn a blind eye to what they are doing. No problem, let the feds investigate both their asses and then they can explain why the fuck they did nothing.

If you take down rapidshare those type of sites will loose their traffic as those files don't exist anymore. Take down the main guy and the rest will die.

i'm surprised they have lasted this long... any decent lawyer should beable to get them terminated from their hosting company for hosting such files.

If the hosting companies are implicated, that would (obviously) be amazing news. Then those cash-grabbing hosts will think twice ... and with no host, no site.

Fines "up to $200,000" is hardly a sting for an operation like that. It's another failure of law enforcement and it makes the goverment look silly in Sweden. It's about time copyright laws, and especially DMCA, were re-written to reflect modern delivery methods in both Sweden and the rest of the World too.

The videos with ad overlays are YouTube partners. They are splitting the profit from those ads with YouTube and are the copyright holders.
