$240 - Change someones life?
 

My wife and I are very active with this group and I thought I'd shoot everyone the chance to check it out.

Its a group of Doctors that give their time to Fly (on their own dime usually) to do life saving/changing surgeries for third world kids.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT: You know EXACTLY where your donation is going...$240 donated....one child gets the surgery they need.

Kinda amazing....think how this can change a chils ENTIRE future. Anyway...here it is if anyone is interested..

Bump. Passed this along to the girlfriend. About time to get in some last minute donations/tax deductions.

Wouldnt you rather donate to help those in your own country?

if americans ate just 10% less meat each day - the grains feed to cattle could feed the entire starving population of the world.

Why can't they do the surgerys here for the same $?

One word: greed.

(Can apply to patients who love to sue, doctors who love to charge you $50 for writing a prescription, and the general corporate medical industry)

I do plenty of that as well. And...I see your point, but as a parent, knowing what it would mean if it were my child and I couldnt afford to help them.....borders seem unimportant.
