I think it was back around 2000 or 2001 when he use to keep saying to buy gold because it was going to go up in price. back then it was really cheap. now i regret not listening to him :disgust

LOL. really? i don't really listen too much to AM radio after art bell stopped doing his show. and back then he was the only one saying that i know of. now it's just a follow the herd type of thing when the others are saying to buy gold because it's a little after the fact when gold prices have already skyrocketed.

Wonder when he's coming back on. He did retire 4 times previously..

around 800 now. back then it was in the 200's. that makes me cry.

I sold a couple of days ago, when it was about 807, now its 795 Cdn:winkwink:

Back in the 70's it went from $35 an ounce to $800 in less than couple of years. That's $800 in 1970's money. So if you bought gold for $800 in the 1970's even now you're just only getting back maybe 1/3 of your investment. Kind of sucky for 30 years.
