i figure they have 25 - 50 or so top advertisers off the top of my head , at a couple grand per sponsor per month thats a good 1.2 mil.

then the skins, small banners and side deals , maybe 2 million gross ?

do you think you could make more from gfy ? if so how much and what would you do ?

hosting costs would be fairly minimal i think .. maybe 10k per year, i sure hope not any more :winkwink:

A website like this is not that bandwidth heavy. It's heavy on resources, but I don't see any bandwidth heavy pages on here. $200/m worth of dedicated must handle super busy board like this one with ease... :thumbsup

I sure hope they spend more than $200 a month on making sure GFY runs smooth :helpme

i would integrate some sort of billing mechanism into gfy.

$10 per month for no banners
$10 per month for a small sig
$20 per month for large sig
$5 per thread
