what is it not to understand? You call if you want, its that simple. Why do guys always try to see some kind of between the line message with whatever we tell them? Not all of us play these stupid games.

what's so funny? The fact that she doesnt want to sound needy doesnt mean she's playing a game. Its normal that she doesnt want to sound as if she's gonna be stuck to your ass. To me that's a sign that she wants to respect you.

What i find funny is that neither party feels as though they can act too interested. Oh the games we play.

Its not that, she tells him to call later 'if he wants'. If she would've said 'call me later, you better do otherwise im gonna be disappointed' you put pressure on the guy and he might think that you're a whacko because alot of guys run away when a girl sound a little too serious. I dont know why but its very common.

But then the guy probably won't call because he doesn't want to seem like he is coming on strong either. Then the girl will think hes not interested when he really is but just trying to play by these "rules". I'm no expert and everyone is different but chances are a girl showing interest is not going to scare the guy away unless he is just looking for a fling. of course there are limits but it just seems that everyone is doing what they feel they have to do instead of doing what they feel.

I as a girl second that.

I think to this point, both parties need to make a little work if, ofcourse, they both like each other... the girl would say call me later, if you want, and the guy would call her the next day or a couple days later to not seem so pushy, how's that?

im single because i got tired of reading between the lines. give it to me in black and white or dont speak at all.

I think you have been pretty on target in this thread but I would like to offer another spin on this post.....

Yes, call the girl but do so when YOU KNOW that she will not be around to answer the call. Call when she is at work or whatever....Leave her a message. This shows your interest but at the same time it dumps the deal back in her lap.

Now she can call you back knowing that you are interested and without seeming needy...If she doesn't call then she was never truly interested in you to begin with.

For me it means either of the two: "It doesn't matter if you call or not.. I don't care much."

OR

"I'm feeling you so call me if you're interested as well."

that means call.

she have to play it cool otherwise she is more needy which would make her less attractive to most strong males. So either she considers you strong or she doesnt give a shit. either way its a good sign.
