Mobile Thai brothels offer sex in the back of a van

Police in Bangkok are trying to catch a gang running a mobile brothel service that offers sex in the back of a van.

The gang is believed to run five vans which all have curtains fitted behind the drivers seat and beds installed in the back.

Music is also piped into the bedroom as the vans are driven around the city, reports the Kom Chad Luek newspaper.

Sexual services in the back of the van with a prostitute are on offer for between £20 and £30 a time.

It's reported that the service is being offered for those who want something a little different and that the vans drive around the city smoothly and slowly.

For a lower price customers can instead bring along their partner or have sex in the vehicle while it is parked.

The paper adds that the service has proved to be very popular. Many customers had been disappointed at being unable to hire the vans and are now said to be phoning ahead to book them.

Police say they are trying to catch those operating the vans but add that the group is very well organised and has look-outs and mobile phones.
