Why doesnt GFY have the Avatar funtion live. so People can put their faces up.
 

This way we can see who is real or not

Cause I have no desire to see 6000 images of *******, 2000 images of goatse, and 1500 and climbing images of poo. So thus I signed my life insurance policy over to lensman to keep avatars off this site.

GFY has had just about every vb feature turned off since it was first installed.
I think, at this point, we're lucky to even have sigs.

Just what the board needs . . . more processes.

It'll slow down the board even more and it'll open a second place to sell sig spots.

Why would we need that when we have upstanding members of our community, such as Mr. Anal Hobbit, and Mr. Achmed, that put their headshot in their sig so we know that they're for real?

You'd think with the money this site brought in they could handle features like that... look at sites like somethingawful that have 100k members and 6k average members browsing the forums at any given time, they've got tons of features.

Maybe it's time for GFY to upgrade their 386-SX

Every other board I visit, in and out of the industry, has all the shit running and still outperforms GFY by perhaps 2x :)

That said ... I don't get as much biz from those sites ... so GFY = good :)

having a the pic. feature would be cool. there could be a way to validate pics. ex: pic. of you holding a sheet with GFY written on it. (sort of GFY fansign) wouldn't be hard to make the difference between real and photoshopped
