Is it just me or are you noticing a lot of people getting their 15 minutes of fame recently because of attention from CNN and other sources? It seems to me that we're going thru a quiet news period (not much new news relating to wars on Iraq/Afgan) and because of this, small things like those 3 students with a bomb scare and this woman is getting a lot more attention.

Just seems to me more and more than small stories like this shouldn't get national attention from major news sources.
