Our bathroom hamper is just the right height, so I often pull it up for a temporary desk.

Can't say I'd be totally comfortable with it actually on my lap while sitting on the head, though.

my mine is too much of a pain in the ass. When asus makes the 10" eee I will get that and then it can be a option.
