Camera guys please take a look...

Just bought this Digital Camera for my youngest niece. Good deal or not?

the little kodaks take nice pictures.

I do a lot of concert photography and occasionally a guy comes who takes pictures for a local radio station. He has this small kodak camera but each time I see pictures I stay in awe. For a couple hundred dollars, these Kodaks do a phenomenal job. I mean, I have 8k hung on my neck, the guy has $200 at the most but my pictures are just a tiny bit better. I'm impressed with the quality of Kodak digital cams. I think you have made a good choice. The price seem very good ;)

I do not like Kodak cameras IMHO. I prefer better Nikon, Canon or Sony if you are talking about not pro equipment.

Looks like the one goodgirl uses.

Takes great pics, goes thru batteries like it is on a mission.

As far as Kodak quality, I use a Kodak Easyshare

Considering how dark it was in there, yes.

Nice pics Baddog...I'm thinking for a 15 year old this should be sufficient...hell if it takes pics like goodgirl's then it's more than sufficient...and this one is an easy share as well.

If hers did not go thru batteries like they were going out of style I would like it more.

Well, that is part of the problem. Apparently they keep changing the types of rechargeables that are available. I don't recall all the details, just that I know the next time she is here we are going to try and hunt some down.

I know whenever I have gone to buy a new camera, for some reason backups are never available. They keep adding little notches on the packs that makes it difficult to even use the same charger much less get them to slide in.

:disgust crap...LOL...I guess we'll have to see how it works out.

I have seen Kodak EasyShare's with balanced studio lighting take photos just as good as big dollar cameras for web content.

darkmediak07 11-23-2007 11:18 PM

Nice pics... I work with Canon 400D, but these days there is little difference in quality from the various name brand SLR's. The point and shoots are also coming along nice. Now if only they could have zero shutter lag and an interchangeable lens...

carol.prime 11-24-2007 12:22 AM

Not bad for a 7.1MP cam but too sad there isn't a feature for correcting Red-eyes.

mynameisyep 11-24-2007 12:39 AM

I'm not a pro in this one but I like cannon or casio..
