I got a speeding ticket
I've been driving for 28 years and never had a ticket.. I'm so depressed !! (that's longer than my boyfriend's entire life hehehe)
a state trooper caught me doing 75 in a 55 mph zone.. but he put "70" on the ticket... how long did you go before you got a ticket? or are you still clean??? |
I got caught doing 120 mph on a freeway last month. Got a $30 on the spot fine. Bloody traffic cops, got nothing better to do?
A Porche overtook me 5 minutes before they could not catch him:) Life is good in CZ :thumbsup |
$30??? SHIT!! That's a bargain for going that speed..
I got $115 fine! and a day in court.... !! |
yeah my fine is 289 bucks and 4 points, I have to go to court in November, I got hit for 39 over on the highway

CZ sounds like a nice place to live. What does it stand for? Czech Republic? |
To you fuckers that do 80+ you all deserve to have your licenses taking away.
Speed limits are not only to protect you, but me. Fucking wreckless immature idiots. Over 70 you are no longer "in control" you are basically "keeping it straight." Hope your brakes work. |
I keep my speed demoning on the track... the road is for cruuuuuuuuuusin'!!
|
I got my first speeding ticket early this summer. First in my 8 year driving career. And now, over half of the insurance companies wont even talk to me... Yaye
|
I was a bad little shit when I was younger. One month after I got my license I was caught racing on the main street of my town at 2:00am. I got charged for 140km/h in a 50km/h zone. 110km/h OVER THE LIMIT! Better known as careless driving...
Needless to say my parents absolutely shit! They kicked my ass and called "points", the traffic lawyers... They ended up dropping the charges down to 80 in a 50 and it cost me 4 points and a $100 fine. Better than the 6 points and my license they were planning to hammer me with. I have certainly slowed down in my old age, but I still drive Mustangs and Sportbikes? Figure that out? DH |
I'm still clean, but tomorrow I'm going to make a test drive in a Audi TT 225 pk :uhoh

I follow the rule, you break them and endanger yourself and others. You think I drive 35 on the freeway? No, I do a good 65, as the law allows. Youre nothing more than a shitter with a fast car. Christine. |

You? The way I see it, when some cock is doing 90 on the freeway they are risking my life and not respecting my rights as an individual. So as my right to safely commute was taken away, may your license one day. hehehe :winkwink: |
Just don't get caught blowing a left turn signal ~ $340

The blinders you wear so well only make you a target. My days are very nice. hehehe |

Case in point: If I am coming up on your left in the passing lane, technically speeding to pass you, and you decide you want to be in the passing lane as I am passing you, don't signal, don't shouldercheck and cause a huge accident - who is at fault? The evil speeder? Or the dumbass who actually caused the accident? It's not all black and white. And about half the people driving, shouldn't be. Cheers, Backov |

Yeah most shouldnt be driving especially in Cali. |
What about the numerous states that have 75 as the speeding limit? Is everyone in that state a homicidal maniac since that is the state law? Your view on this is incredibly limited to the California perspective....
|
Again, I was speaking of California.
Where I drive. And I did say "80 +" where is 80 + okay? more so based on the fact, over 70 you arent really in control you are keeping the wheels straight. |
Quote:
And where is your factual data for this statement? I have no problem you saying it is your opinion based on your driving experience, but if you are claiming facts for everyone where is this wealth of knowledge coming from? |
No tickets yet but my christmas present (that im getting for myself b/c im a loser) is a 3000GT. Fucking NJ cops would chew me up with their strict-ass laws.
(thank god ill only be there for a few weeks) Is it true that cops have quotas to fill on the amount of tickets they have to fill out a day? |

Fuck Montana. And read up on that, they may not have a posted speed limit but speeds are enforced goofy. Quote:
That fast drivers have small dicks and are insecure. Hmm, I made it up. Quote:
Including and not limited to speed limits. hahaha Funny. |

I NEVER EVER drive freeways anymore... I haven't been on a
fwy for over a year. I am not afraid of driving, but of accidents and dying painfully. I have heard horror stories of people being ejected from their card or being smashed to zillions of pieces due to car accidents, and it traumatized me... I just cannot drive freeways anymore. I always take inside streets whenever I can, and if it's not possible to go somewhere without taking the fwy, I just don't go... I stay home. |

Again, your logic is incorrect. Quote:

Despite whatever nonsense you shitters say, fact is. When you speed You break the law. I don't. You are wrong. And I am not. hahaha Now, el baņo |
Your right Fletch I just checked on my montana fact and it changed in 2000 before that for 5 years, speed limits was not enforced during that time but driving safety was, such as weaving in and out of traffic. That was reapealed in 2000 and replaced with the standard 75 and guess what? Fatal accidents doubled that year according to the National Motorists Association.
And the factual staatement I was referring to is the keeping the car in control over 70mph... not the small dick one :) And for the record I think there are times like when the entire road is empty that speeding is not a big deal, but when there is alot of traffic and someone is weaving in and out of traffic just so they can stay at 80mph that is a very different story... As far as getting things moving, you havent upset anyone I believe, I for one just like discussing issues that I am interested in, so no real trick there for you :) With an average of 32 posts a day though I am sure you a trolling out there quite a bit to get people moving.. lol |
And yeah, I know you can die in a car accident on inside streets as well, but I think there's a lesser chance of dying in a car accident on inside streets vs the freeway. I am terrified of getting in an accident and having to go through something horrendous like getting stitches, or breaking bones or dying!
So I NEVER EVER go on the freeway anymore because I'm too scared of getting in an accident or dying... Sometimes I wish I lived in a small country like Holland where everyone just walks. Over there people can just walk to the grocery store or to the bank, it's considered normal. No one walks like that in Orange County where I live so I have to drive, but I try to drive as little as possible. |
