Places that buy/repair water damaged laptops?

I've got about a 2 month old gateway laptop that had water spilled on it. Warranty doesn't cover spill damage - does anyone know of a place that either repairs (gateway wants $500... it was a $750 laptop - fuck that!) or buys these types of things?
