Why the fuck do sooo many morons like HOT climates?
 

Think about it.

when you have a winter you can

1. grow a gut. no one will see it under your winter parka

2. nipples get harder.

3. take a snow bath to get invigorated. you JUST can't take one in a hot climate

4. build a snowman

5. not have to listen to whimps cause they all go south.

6. have cheaper housing.

7. have more toys, you need things like snowmobiles in the winter

8. Get more done on your computer

9. enjoy x-mas the way it was SUPPOSED to be enjoyed

10. not have to take 6 showers a day due to sweating.



i love having 4 seasons. honestly I do. would I want winter ALL the time - no - nor would I want summer all the time. life's about variety!

I might still be down in Mexico when Christmas rolls around. It's already weird as hell to see the fake snowflakes, snowmen and other assorted decorations up as well as the smell of pine from the christmas trees. It just doesn't feel right when its this warm out.

Fuck snow, fuck winter, and fuck being cold in general.

I can be on the beach and 2 hour drive later be in the snow.
I get the best of both, and Spains cheap..

I don't mind Summer and Winter but I can do without that Fall/Spring business

Don't like hot climates, would feel real weird without a winter, if I would be about to move it would be probably Canada or Scandinavia - by the sea prefferably. The only hot exception is California because I know so many good people over there, but would still need a winter in winter - like tro travel to Colorado once upon a while or so.

We barely have snowfall here in the Netherlands. It's just cold and rainy.

The site of hot chicks walking on the street wearing skimpy outfits and better yet, seeing them on the beach wearing even lesser clothing.

7. I do love sledding, but its pretty pricy, and sometimes there isnt enough snow local to really have fun so have to drive 4 hours to the mountains.

Sledding and boarding take up a lot of time.

9. I do like have a glass of eggnog sitting in the hottub with snow falling :)


If I could move to AZ easily, I would already be living there.

The cold is only great for those few days over the holidays.

Yeah I love real fires and turkey and all that - the other 355 days a year I pity you in the cold - and Turkey salad on the beach isnt that bad. :)

Winter is great for about 7 days a year. The rest, I'd rather be able to walk outside in shorts and sandals without getting frostbite.

For silly reasons, I like cold weather better. I find it easier to warm up than I do to cool down. I also like eating hardier foods and sleeping more. :)

I'm not sure about all the winter bullet points, but I like seasons. I like LA too, so I have to visit proper weather. I dislike super hot weather, though I enjoy variety.

Im from the pacific coast and i guess its just bred into me... I hate extreme heat, if it breaks 100 and im exposed, I am miserable... im not too fond of 20 degrees neither, but I can hang better... and if im out im doing something fun.. (usually)



ive always had the thought, and i think it comes form the moist cold homogenous climate coast upbringing... I'd rather die of extreme cold than extreme heat... it would seem more humble to me....

id rather live in 72 degree weather... and travel to places when I need them...

I'm with Sleazy on the seasonal thing - it roadmarks your life, puts a rythm to the thing. Sometimes you need to spend time indoors, and sex is better in winter. I never want to see a santa in swimming trunks again (and god knows Quebec exports LOTS of retired shopping mall santas to be beachd in Florida - forgive us, please forgive us). Plus there's nothing like that first day of spring, when you can smell and feel and see Summer shimmer in your vision when you step outdoors...

Damn. Now I can't wait for winter to be over...

Nothing like a cold snowy moody winter morning to perk you up. After some shovelling you come inside and get that hot coffee going, fire up the stereo and get working on the computer.... ahhh. Heaven.

haha.... You know, I must be nuts because I really don't mind the shovelling. I actually look forward to it and miss it if it doesn't snow for a few weeks.

Only in winter of course. I don't think much about shovelling when it's summer here. I just stand inside in my robe and drink coffee, waving to the neighbors as I flash them from the window.

Seriously, I'd never MAKE the wife shovel snow. She loves it too, so I let her have right at it. The first year we were here though after a huge dumping, and I'm not joking, when she was shovelling, I MADE her tell all the neighbors that she wanted to...just so I didn't look like a total jackass. Of course, I still stood in the window and waved at them all.

I simply can exist in a cold place, give me heat, lots of it, if they move Australia to Europe that be the closest thing to paradise on Earth

It gets too damn cold here in the winter and too damn hot here in the summer. The only thing i like about winter is that i get more work done due to not wanting to go outside.
