Why dont more affliate programs offer pay per click
I was just wondering why there is not many pay per click affliate programs like click through cash, surely these kinds of programs would encourage the webmaster to get more traffic to the programs as they actually see the money coming in and are not waiting for a 1:1000 sign up to make money...just wondering why their are only a few that do this...

Click fraud and the escalating costs of detecting/preventing it.

In the spirit of GFY-ness I have to say that this is funny in so many ways.

PPC is pennies.. why push ppc when revshare & pps make much, much more.
Why do you think ClickThruCash or whoever pays 5 cents a click? Because they're getting shitloads more off that click than you're getting. |
The whole object is to NOT pay you.

If the traffic is bullshit, then to monetize by sending it to someone else. Most people here have worthless traffic and are in denial about it. :2 cents: |

I get what you are saying but lets say you send 1000 hits a day and you get one sale per 1000 and they pay out $40 per sale over 7 days you will earn $280.00 If you were paid 5c per click over the seven days you would earn $350 plus you would not have to pay back any charge backs and you are not always garanteed a sale ratio of 1:1000 I was just thinking that with pay per click its a more of a regular income |
to much fraud/risk is definatly your answer

doesn't mayorys money have something like this .. I may be wrong ...

hehe, nobody pays PPC anymore. I'd never even consider it. Too much trash traffic out there now to even consider such things.
|
In an honest world ppc works great.
