Damn! Manhattan is one hell of an expensive place to live.

Well, as I spent almost that much for 3 nights in a hotel room, that sounds pretty fair to me.

I used to live on 39th Street, east side and paid a lot more than that...

Exactly! :2 cents::2 cents:

For a 375 sq ft closet??? No thanks.

Tho prices are much the same in any major city. London is no different - a friend owned one of these closets and used it during weekdays for work convenience and sold it recently for the best part of $1mill (900K something).

They are not places to live in - more like a bed for the night :winkwink:

cool1 11-21-2007 07:33 PM

now that is insane, got to be crazy to pay that much for such a small space to live.

pornask 11-21-2007 07:33 PM

That's US$ though. This sum is going to be a pocket change soon.

Xrated J 11-21-2007 07:36 PM

Yeah, why not. Too many people earning low to mid $xxx,xxx in the area, no big surprise.

tony286 11-21-2007 10:11 PM

mine was smaller when I lived there but who cared you never stood in your house.
