Seven years ago tommorow is the anniversary of my father's death.

I fucking hate thanksgiving. it's not the same without him here and every year I am reminded of him passing away on Thanksgiving morning.

I miss him. :(

I feel for you. My husband's best friend died just last week and it's really put a damper on the household. Can't imagine it being a family member like that.

Well, try to distract yourself - make some money then go shopping! I'm sure your dad wouldn't want you to be sad on his account!

I remember one Thanksgiving one of my brothers died. You get over it. He would not want you to still dwell on it.

Man that sucks. Have a drink and be with some friends for the day. Good conversation will take it partially off your mind.
