You'd need a pretty big fly flap for that one :Oh crap
|
While the Eurypterid is the largest Arthropod to have ever walked the earth, they have found longer fossils of these "sea scorpions" before... as long as 8.4 feet.
Last time I checked, 8.4 > 8.0 Fox News != reliable source |

Sea scorpions are NOT "bugs". What kind of science writer would write this? Insects were indeed bigger in the past as well, since earth had a greater percentage of oxygen in the atmosphere in the distant past and that allows insects with their passive respiration systems to grow larger than they would be able to grow nowadays, but not eight-plus feet long!
|
Another thing I wondered about ... if they found the claw - couldn't it have just been a little creature with huge claws??
Also, a joke: Did they find it inside Windows Vista? *bows* |

Oh, and I honestly LOL'ed at the Vista joke. :1orglaugh |
That's just plain crazy!!

Id die if I ever met something like that... fucking nasty. Reminds me of those creatures from King Kong
|

|
Wow
*shudder* |
