Is it me or is this guy using a small block Chevy V8 in this P51 Mustang replica?
http://www.marcel-jurca.com/gallery/...1/category/120 I would have thought a V-8 would be a bad choice because of rev limits and weight. However it damn sure looks like a V8 to me. Oddly enough it's also sitting in the normally forward position. I would have thought using a typical V-8 like that would require the engine to be turned backwards. I know here in Florida small block Chevy V-8's are pretty commonly used on air boats. Just seems oddd they would use one for a plane. you can see more of the plane here http://www.marcel-jurca.com/gallery/...?/category/120 |
I dont know man, its got 5 exhaust ports on that side before the manifold? dosnt look like a small block to me, heads maybe but its a tough call.

I came across one using a 500 HP big block Chevy engine but it wasn't a very good looking replica. Then I saw this one and thought it looked like a small block. |
