Whats the point? You still get the same amount just in a different currency.

Maybe the correct question should be...

Who charges sufers in local currency at a level which reflects currency value and pays out in Euros or GBP?

A $25 payout whether it's charged in dollars or rupees don't matter - still $25, but if a signup is charged at eg 25 GBP it's a different story - double revenue.

When the payment is in Euro or GBP, it holds its value/appreciates in value in relation to the USD. This has been a serious concern for my company lately.

I've had situations where I get a wire and after a 3 day hold by the banks here in the Philippines the exchange rate has sunk. The Philippine peso is, next to the Indian rupee, the fastest appreciating currency in Asia. :(

True, just holding money in euros can make things better.

Gene, hedge for currency risks by
- buying PHP/USD call options
- buying PHP/USD futures (if they're traded on a PH exchange)
- etc

Make investment size reflect income/capital at stake and be creative in setup to hedge for incoming/outgoing payments.
