Let's look at the glass half full.

The person could be there most of the day and no one will mess with them. The cops will not try and wake him up and very rarely will he get robbed. They are one with the waves of the street. Almost like falling a sleep on the beach.

When I was going to school in San Francisco, I saw passed out homeless people all the time. Just go to the Civic Center/Main Library area and you'll see people passed out in bushes, on the sidewalk, etc. The WORST sight was of a homeless man that had shit his pants passed out drunk/drugged face down right by the Carl's Jr in front of UN plaza. There was so many flies on him it was sad.

I never see people passed out here. Sure I live in a really nice part of Brazil(rio) but wtf?
