I wanted to see how many people here believe in God.

I am a proud jew, but I do belive wise ppl invented the bible and mabey god, for ppl to follow rules by, live a clean life, etc, etc.

wasn't the god/devil thing invented by some persian?
and if i remember correctly the concept of a real evil being is a christian construct, as the jewish deity opperated as a duality, not good or bad, but capable of both.
i,e. the christian god lets crap happen. the jewish god makes crap happen.

Believe what you want, practice whatever religion you like, perform whatever ceremonies make you happy.... we all die. Nothing changes that.

How many of your prayers are unanswered. Has your god ever made himself visible to you? Have you ever been comforted by your own faith, or has it challeneged every desire you have. From wanting to fuck to wanting to kill. Those are the basics of man drive to survive.

How can you put faith in something that doesnt put faith back in you. How can you be so self destructive to your body to let it serve something that challenges what you really want to do, and be.

Why do all god fearing people think they are right. And everyone else is wrong. I grew up with Catholic priests telling me if I didnt believe in jesus I would go to Hell and not be saved. Any non catholic would burn in Hell.

was my way of stating i'm agnostic... i don't believe in a bible version of god. i believe in a higher power. that big bang theory and shit like it in my opinion is bullshit, just like the bible.

but please, don't tell me you think you know 100% sure that there isn't a god.

Nobody is 100% sure about it, the facts just point towards there not being a God more then opposed to God being real

..well, i worded that wrong... not BELIEVE... but the facts are too inconclusive for us to turn our backs on the possibility that there MIGHT be a higher power. which should be the very reason that no one should think they "know".

I ounced talked to a guy who thought God was a alien from outer space. He said when people saw angels coming down from heaven they where actually aliens coming down from space, and the reason they dont come around anymore is because our technology is more advance and we would shoot them down.
You reminded me of what he said with that post.

I believe there is a god, you watch a creationist video sometime, they have so much scientific evidence that blows evolusionists out of the water, everything the evolusionists come up with the creationists can debunk as bullshit. There is so much evidence of the flood worldwide, there have been 6-7 predictions from the book of David that have come true and are well documented in Europe / American history. Plus so much other stuff its to much to write in a small post.

I do believe in God but I think he is an hands off Asshole who left us to destroy ourselfs and then will take a select few who pass his shitty fucked up tests. Either that or this is just a cruel experiment of his. (not that my life sucks, my life rocks but there is a lot of bad shit happening world wide everyday, he doesn't value human life like humans value it).

Think about this, scientists with there 1000's of computers and 100,000's of biologists and all there compplex hardware CAN NOT create any type of new life form, all they can do is edit a gene here and a bit of DNA there and ohhh look we made a green colored Rabbit. We with all our interlect who can design computers that can process billions of calucations a second can not design life, but somehow we are meant to believe it all just happened by chance. Scientists even evolusionists have calculated the chance of the human body evoving from premourdial soup and it was something like 1 in 100 billion billion

Oh and think about this, a woodpecker (bird) is so unique, it has a special reinforced beack, and the reason it can drill holes in trees with its beack it because its tounge retracts inside its head and it has a special DESIGNED compartment around its skull where its tounge retracts back and wraps up and around its entire scrull to absorb all the impact. If it didn't have this it would not be able to wack its head against trees without knocking its self out. Imagine if you had a reinforced beck attached to your face, you wouldn't want to wack your head against something cause it would freaking hurt. But if your tounge was 10 times larger and could warp around your skull you could probably handle it, as long as the rest of your skull was designed properly also.

Quite clearly an amazing being designed the woodpeaker, to say that it evolved that way is pure bullshit.

The woodpecker was designed, plan and simple, just like we were.
