Dell XPS all-in-one. Nice little systems

not bad, i like them .. the computer is built right into the monitor , so there is no box.. just a monitor

pretty clean looking. not very expandable mind you but very clean and simple.

Deej 11-19-2007 12:34 AM

so youre currently rocking one?

minusonebit 11-19-2007 12:34 AM

Its still a Dell. Their systems are terrible crap. I just finally unloaded my old Dell, I am surprised that I didn't have to pay THEM to take it.

munki 11-19-2007 12:35 AM

I love the XPS systems... any of them... very clean machines...

I'm rocking one of their older desktop XPS's right now, its been a solid workhorse.

no actually i saw a review article in a pc mag. I usually stay away from "boxy" type systems. They are usually glutted with useless software and dont like it when you upgrade :)

but specs, look and review are all very nice.

i think i will def be buying one for my boat. It will save alot of space and hassle . 1 cord :)

We have a couple of the new iMacs and love the all in one setup.

Haven't really seen much of the Dells. I've been check out their site though, as I won one of their 30'' Monitors from YappoDollars.

papill0n 11-19-2007 01:05 AM

They look kick arse! I hate clutter.!

Going to order one right now!

candyflip 11-19-2007 01:06 AM

Ah...so it's an iMac.

If that's the case, the Apple product wins out because you can install OSX or Windows. They do look nice though.

dissipate 11-19-2007 01:08 AM

Doesn't come with XP - useless with the amount of development work I do. =(

its better than an imac.. :)

why would anyone want osx :)

well i haven't actually tried one but the reviewers also gave imacs a nice rating when they tested it but said this was much nicer than any other "all-in-one" type system

Yes and pay 30% more for the same shit not counting the extra money for the Windows OS. REAL smart. If one wants a machine to use windows on WHY use an Apple?

WiredGuy 11-19-2007 10:11 AM

Smokey, have you found this PC under the Dell Canada site? I'd buy one today if I can find it here.

looks like a black imac

Shagbunny 11-19-2007 10:44 AM

i think it looks cool, if you like the specs on them and don't want a big separate cpu box
