Either that or they get sold on eBay and if you didn't wipe the hard drive of the comp, someone will have all your data. Alot of technology "recyclers" simply resell shit that is given to them for free.

lol, there are factories in the US that do all this automated..

those companies make millions a year just extracting metals from computer parts.
