I remember the front page was lit up with a lot of threads of people up in arms about it... calling for Ted's hanging, guys wanting to bash his skull in,... but not like this.

Did anyone get banned back then, for that? I can't recall but I'm inclined to say no.

So far on this board I've seen the Chechen video (living soldier beheaded with a commando knife), and the beheading of a prisoner in the middle East and one in china, both by sword, in all cases the prisoners had obviously been beaten and tortured before being put to death.

I can't recall anyone getting banned for posting any of those, but that doesn't mean there wasn't bannings. What I do know is that the outrage over those vids where actual humans were killed was nowhere near the outrage levels we are seeing over this cat.

Something about a defenseless animal being tortured and killed that really brings out the claws in people.

Then another picture of a kitten looking up innocently, and someone pouring lighter fluid on it until its soaked and then lighting a match... according to the time on the video captures, 1 and a half minutes later, its charred remains lying on its side - dead.
