Barrel of oil could reach $200 IF the USA Attacks Iran
|
How much if we level Venezuela too? I'd be willing to add an extra nickel.

lot more ifs there... what about china dumping us fed reserve notes? The sinking dollar could force the price of oil per dollar to go up... The true gallon of gas in the US even with the war in Iraq should be around $1.50 to $1.75. But since the dollar is in the tank it is much higher.

don't worry, i am working on an engine that runs on sperm... all you will have to do is drive over to boyalleys house and get him to empty his rectum and stomach into the tank and you are good for thousands of miles....

I'm so fucking screwed everytime gas goes up.
I drive a full size 4x4 Suburban with a V8 & large tires & the thing's a fucking hog on gas.. Averages about $70 per 150 miles or something like that |
Once we take over Iran we'lll have all the oil we need.
|
Wouldn't that be nice?

I hate to say this, we attack iran gas will be the least of our problems.
|
agreed.... think about it... if they are supplying the "terrorists" in Iraq (which we can not even beat).. they know where every base of ours is. The first air strike the US does, we can kiss the "green zone" good bye alone with most of our ships in the gulf. We would be screwed really bad.

Don't agree with much of Chavez conduct, but he sure is correct with this quote: "The basis of all aggression is oil. It is the underlying reason..." OPEC have been fairly good at managing their oil assets (tho they did make a biggish error a few decades ago) and sure they will continue this path despite attempted pressure from nations who waste oil. |

I also think another war would be disastrous for all sides involved but it kinda looks like it will happen sometime in the future. |

So you all go there and try to beat the hotel at its own game, let say black jack... Tat is your right, you are old enough to do that decision, wheter it is stupid or not ... But one thing for sure is that YOU must be ready to pay the price if you want to reap the benifits... But what you guys are saying is that, well if it goes nicely, we keep the loot, but if it goes bad, well fuck the whole world.. Resembles the situation in Iraq when you guys were already selling the skin of the bear ( major $$$ contracts ) with the clause that ONLY countries supplying bodies were eligible... now you are paying for it.... alone. AS for bringing " high oil prices " upon american, sorry I have no say in that .. you do ... so stop trying to blame others :2 cents: Anyway, I understand what an american patriot is to you : don't talk about the truth, just blindly follow. And NOBODY still answered: What has Venezuela done to you ? Attacked you ? Bombed in Oklahoma ? in NY? they are killing americans ? in Iraq? in NY... It should be easy to answer. |

The leader of Venezuela is evil - this is a matter of fact and proven - it's a slam dunk. The same applies to Ahmadinejad in Iran, the French and not forgetting that one-time good friend Saddam Hussein. (But Musharraf is our friend, despite being a military dictator and having WMD) It's the 'learned hatred' of the masses cultivated by a corrupt government to justify their deviant agenda. PS Ah.. the French are now forgiven... We have a good relationship with the French leader because he says what we want him to say :winkwink: |

This guy needs to shut the fuck up already before we kick his ass just for sport:
"If the United States was mad enough to attack Iran or aggress Venezuela again the price of a barrel of oil could reach $150 or even $200," he said. What a fucking idiot. |
If you think that would be expensive for our country, allow Iran to supply Hezbollah or other terrorist group with a nuke and watch Washington, DC or New York get vaporized.
How far do you think the Dow would drop in that scenario? |

We will not attack Iran, we will not attack Venezuela. It is just fear mongering and sabre rattling for pre election hoopla and attempts to make sure the war budget is constantly approved.
Saudi is rumored to be past peek oil already and are inflating numbers and boosting its reserves. China is becoming a nation on the move and is in an energy crisis with the instant demand for the need of cars and general power through coal plants and the like. Everyone and their brothers should already understand that the money should not be spent on wars over easy to get oil and more on alternate fuel sources. The oil needs for most cars in the US can be overcame with small amounts of consumer discomfort. It is our power plants and other energy issues that run on oil that will be a bit more troublesome to get past. Then again the future does not rely in corn ethanol either unless we as a country are particularly suicidal. We really do need to bite the bullet and spend all we can on new infrastructures and energy production. We need to replace all of our old rail track with high speed electrical lines. We need to improve on underground CO2 storage. Build wind farms, solar towers, ocean turbines and everything else we can to boost our own energy production. |
If oil rates goes up 1 1/2 to 2 times what it is now then what will happen to the US dollar, also how about trade issues that will come from such?
